According to Viv, Rosie is based on Mary Poppins, and she's an overlord. So I wondered: What are her powers?
To become an overlord, one must have an advantage over other demons. Well, Mary Poppins has a habit of somehow always knowing what pople think and need, so I presume a hellish version of her would be a mind reader & manipulator.

| The way I draw Franklin is inspired by a twitter commentator (I am sorry for having forgotten their name!) who mentioned that the dead Franklin we see in the pilot somehow resembles the lady demon who catches Alastor's hat in the prequel comic. |

| Rosie took advantage of Alastor's only weakness, by impersonating his mother and mentally throwing him back into his childhood. She's also talking more like his mother in this scene, drawing her words right out of Alastor's memory. |

And yes, I am implying here that Rosie was the mastermind behind Alastor overthrowing a good amount of the overlords, the coup d'état Al became infamous for, but Rosie actually lead from behind.
My headcanon is such, that while Rosie never used mind manipulation after this incident on Alastor, they still are both Alphas and like to poke each other's sore spots. Rosie loves to challenge Al into dropping his permanent grin. |
